Frequently Asked Questions
How can I order a conference shirt?
We may have a store open soon to pre-order conference shirts. We'll keep you posted.
How can I register for a mission or ministry booth?
Click on our registration link, this will take you to our Eventbrite page where will click register. One of the ticketing options is "Ministry and Mission Booth". Fill out the application there and we will be in touch to let you know whether or not your application has been accepted.
Booths must be ministry or mission related and will be approved individually by our planning team to insure they fit the vision and focus of Lightbearers. Preference will always be given to active missions which our attendees can become involved with beyond the conference.
How do you choose the vendors for booths at Lightbearers?
All vendors wishing to set up at Lightbearers MUST have a missional mindset or clearly defined ministry focus. Booths may be informational, letting attendees of the conference know of ways they can get invovled with your ministry to advance the Kingdom of God, or you may also sell items in order to raise money for a specific cause or mission. As space is limited, preference will always be given to missions and ministries that are able to clearly articulate their ministry focus and have a demonstrated track record of evangelical or missional work.
How can I help?
It takes DOZENS of volunteers to make a free conference on the scale of Lightbearers run smoothly! From preparing food for our "green room" to individuals to help with our speaker's booth sales to registration table volunteers and especially tear down and clean-up help... WE NEED YOU! Please let us know how you wish to help when you register for the event!
Is Lightbearers Appropriate for Teens?
Absolutely! We welcome any high school aged girl to Lightbearers! What a delight to be able to equip and empower YOUNG lives to bear the light of Christ in their worlds! While younger girls may also want to come, the Planning Team advises that many of the breakout sessions will include personal testimonies that some girls are not yet able to fully understand, additionally difficult topics such as human trafficking are at times discussed from the main stage.
What's for lunch?
Lunch will consist of a chicken salad sandwich, chips, cookies and tea or lemonade to drink. This lunch is free and will be waiting for you in the cafeteria during your assigned lunch session. If you have a special diet, or would prefer something other than chicken salad, we ask that you would pack your own lunch on Saturday. Refrigerators are available, just check in at the registration desk and we will take care of it for you!
I have a nursing baby?
Lightbearers LOVES babies and want our nursing mommies to feel comfortable and welcomed! We will have two nursing mothers rooms set up near the main auditorium that you may visit if you need to pump or, should you choose to bring baby with you to the conference, to nurse him or her.
